METHODS OF CALCULUS COURSE DESCRIPTION |

This course presents a descriptive and intuitive introduction to the methods and applications of differentiation and integration appropriate for, and of some relevance to, students majoring in Architecture, Biology, Business, Chemistry (BA), Economics, Geology, or Psychology. This course considers the derivative and the integral including the standard differentiation and integration techniques. Optimization, exponential growth, and L'Hospital's Rule are also considered.
The prerequisite is a present-day knowledge of College Algebra or two years of high school algebra. |

An interesting and perhaps unique feature of this textbook is that this textbook contains the solutions to all the homework exercises and, for each of the six tests, contains the solutions to four previous tests. .
